About Luke

Luke Jaicks played D1 sports and went on to coach football at Scottsdale College, SW Oklahoma State, Missouri Valley College and Brevard College.

Luke broke many records as a coach in the NCAA and USA South. He set new records at Brevard College that hadn’t been broken in 67 years. He is known for being a talented recruiter and recruited and coached the only All American in Brevard College’s sports history: Joc Pledger. He also coached and recruited the only small college player of the year nominees Steffon Canady and Dante Anderson.

Luke’s biggest passion is in player development, working with student athletes on the mental performance part of the game.

He now serves as the MIU Athletic Director and recruiting coordinator, and he will be the Women’s Flag Football Coach in the 2025-26 school year.
